Job Description The position of Business Analyst is primarily responsible for coordinating the financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes for North America and Caribbean entities and ensuring internal controls are designed properly and are operating effectively.

  • Provide monthly, quarterly, & annual group financial reporting, KPI & dashboard preparation, variance analysis, drafting of monthly financial performance comments, financial performance review meetings
  • Manage Forecasting& budgeting (3 year Plan). This involves preparing templates sent to the various department head and expressing the financial forecasting and business plan in the form of a targeting balance sheet, income statement, of cash flows
  • Facilitate mega-process narrative description, coordination of internal controls internal testing, and remediation of control deficiencies
  • Provide internal and external auditors with information and explanations during audits.
  • True North Champion for North America -True North provides a precise methodology to allocate indirect cost (SG&A, logistics, etc), measure true business performance of sites and benchmark cost against other Sodexho entities
  • Manage liaison duties with the Sodexo USA tax department for corporate tax filings & payments. That involves retrieving account details and balances, providing state apportionment information, explaining changes from year to year and providing any kind of information that is useful for corporate tax preparation.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or more is required.
  • 5 year of experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience coordinating work performed by others
  • International reporting a plus
  • Adept in using Hyperion Enterprise Financial reporting software
  • Adept in using Microsoft Excel advanced functionality
