Reports to: Design Engineering Team Leader
Job Status: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: Design and develop electronic circuits, equipment, systems, and products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work in a project team on new product development. This may include some of the following tasks:
• Research new technology
• Work closely with the hardware group on circuit design
• Analog circuits
• Digital circuits
• Microcontrollers (hardware and software)
• FPGA
• Display, optical and backlight research
• Research and test components
• Design test fixtures
• Build prototypes
• Troubleshoot circuits
• Work with manufacturing on pilot builds
• Perform preliminary environmental tests on prototypes
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Enrolled in Accredited Bachelors Degree Program in Design Engineering
• Excellent Academics
