Interacts with patients, insurance carriers, the revenue cycle management department and practice personnel concerning patient accounts. Provides training as needed to practice personnel in the Associates’ assigned region on EMR systems, billing systems and specific insurance plans.   • Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED. Three years of accounts receivable experience including two years of experience in a health care organization; one year of experience in a managed care setting preferred. Working knowledge of ICD9, CPT and HCPCS coding. Additionally, this position requires knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Champus and Worker’s Compensation insurance plans. This person must be able to operate a 10 key calculator by touch, have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Training experience on EMR systems, insurance plans, and billing systems are additional required skills. •This position is employed by CHRISTUS Provider Network
