Job Description Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek is currently seeking for an experienced painter with an extensive background in industrial painting or shop painting for a leading welding/fabrication shop in Salt Lake City; this company manufactures parts and subassemblies for ski lifts. The painter must have at least 3-4 years of experience in an industrial environment(commercial or residential painting experience is not applicable!) The painter must have industrial painting experience. Will be preparing and painting large metal structures for commercial and industrial industries such as large metal structural parts. This job is in a shop and the painter will mix adhesives, paint or resin systems, applies them to piece parts, assembles and secures parts for curing processes - Repairs surface blemishes using written instructions - Use of power tools such as sanders, drills, paint guns, routers, sand blasters, and other applicable tools in order to manufacture, paint and assemble parts. Experience Requirements: Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of painting processes and the ability to calculate resin rations and similar functions - Ability to follow directions from manager, verbal and written tool orders and engineering orders - Experience using trimming equipment, cutters, grinders and drills to trim parts within drawing requirements or shop order tolerances. - Ability to read and understand blue prints This position is paying $15-16/hour DOE! and offers great benefits.
