As a Recruiter for Farmers Insurance, you will be a critical player in our efforts to change the way insurance is done, by being strategic about the way we hire professional independent contractors / agents. Job Requirements

As a Recruiter with Farmers Insurance in our Baltimore, Maryland office, your primary mission will be to coordinate and implement all active and passive recruiting initiatives in our search for new insurance agents in the region. Your professional business acumen and tireless work ethic coupled with your ability to build professional connections will be critical to your success as you review resumes and handle a high volume of outbound calls daily while following-up on applicants and other leads. Led by your creativity and sales tenacity, you will seek qualified candidates in new ways each week while maintaining a presence at career fairs, networking events, and other community sponsored events certain to provide a platform for you to meet qualified referral sources and prospects. Attention to detail is critical as you will schedule and conduct multiple telephone and in-person interviews each week by contacting candidate leads that we provide, in addition to those you find on your own. At Farmers Insurance we believe that talent can come from many different areas and backgrounds and seek, most importantly, the professional that is driven and enthusiastic about building their network of professional relationships and hitting their numbers first and foremost. At minimum, a four-year Bachelor's degree is required - no exceptions.
