Job Description Responsibilities: Our client is seeking a UI / Front End Designer for their Beaverton, Oregon (OR) location. The nature of the work is focused on the company's computer and telephony technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information.Duties:
  • Develops code, configures applications, and defines job schedules for moderately complex requirements
  • Installs software and software updates for non-critical systems
  • Participates in the following peer reviews: technical reviews, application reviews, integration reviews, standards and best practice reviews
  • Creates test plans, executes tests, and validates test results for unit testing
  • Performs application support, problem solving, and issue resolution with internal and external resources
  • Contributes to technical solutions by performing technical analysis and identifying options
  • Applies global process standards to system changes
  • Applies coding/configuration standards and best practices
  • Conducts Compliance Issue Remediation
  • Assists performance test scripts and executes performance tests with assistance
  • Creates basic technical design documents and contributes to advanced technical design documents
  • Assists in researching engineering tools and developing proof of concepts
  • Provides expertise to the highest degree on in user experience technology, interface design, device specific solutions, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Offers expertise and a leading perspective on specific or emerging technologies in consumer web properties across device types.
  • Ensures that solutions meet the highest security requirements for consumer data and eliminate vulnerabilities
  • Demonstrates expertise to the highest degree in design methodologies for web architecture, browser compatibility, SEO and adaptive design
  • Elevates the application of engineering best practices in JavaScript development, including test-driven development, design pattern usage, etc.
  • Job RequirementsUI / Front End Designer Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise):
    • Bachelors' degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
    • Experience working on projects focused on adaptive design
    • Have at least one project that interacted with a social network such as Facebook or Twitter
    • Strong background working on websites that have been localized in to numerous languages
    • 5 years of professional experience working on complex projects across web platforms & mobile applications, with internal and external design, development, and quality teams
    • Clear understanding of tools and techniques to capture solution architectures and share these with a diverse audience and still achieving a solid understanding
    • 2 years additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
    • Experience working with external agencies or remote teams
