Job Description Classification: Systems Analyst

Compensation: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour

Job Description: - Serve as the operations subject matter expert for vulnerability management technology.• Work with other engineering staff to develop and implement a plan to operate vulnerability management technologies to scan devices such as servers, desktops, network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and other infrastructure components for vulnerabilities. - Perform routine vulnerability management tasks including; monitoring the viability of all vulnerability management scans, regular reporting and metrics gathering, prioritization and monitoring of remediation activities undertaken by infrastructure teams. - Work with the audit and risk management divisions to provide evidence of above activities as required. - Provide operations services for information security projects and tasks. - Assist information security manager in coordinating team project delivery and program management reporting. - Provide subject matter expertise around specific technologies. - Analyze and prepare reports in support of information security monitoring, improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Job RequirementsRequired Skills: - Prior in-depth experience with McAfee Foundstone or similar. - Security familiarity with infrastructure components: servers, network devices, databases, etc. - Ability to self-manage project delivery, including planning, providing status updates, and metrics. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Hands-on security experience. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in IT; 3+ years experience in Information SecurityDesired/Bonus Skills: - Related industry certifications are a plus (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH)
