Job Description Responsibilities: A Kforce client is looking for a Pricing Analyst in Vienna, Virginia (VA).Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and compliant cost and business proposals
  • Participate in the proposal pricing process to include: development of price strategy; and utilize overall knowledge of company bid-rate structure to complete assignments within sometimes extremely tight and strict proposal schedules
  • Develop cost models and cost narratives based on the requirements of the RFP
  • Work closely with Capture Manager, Technical Staff, and functional departments to ensure accuracy and coordination of cost proposals and collect data; interface with technical personnel responsible for estimates; and develop cost volume completion schedules
  • Coordinate labor; subcontracts, and reviews
  • Analyze and compile cost data
  • Analyze estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs
  • Analyze estimates against previous cost experience and recommend adjustments
  • Prepare cost volumes
  • Participate in pricing review with upper management and coordinate with senior staff to determine pricing structure and strategy
  • Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications or negotiations
  • Utilize processes and tools that result in compliant / quality pricing proposal

    Job RequirementsTo qualify for this position, experience with the following is required:
    • A BS degree in Finance or related field is preferred
    • 6+ years of pricing experience
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • Must have cost modeling experience
    • Must be capable of handling cost volumes with narratives
    • Perform pricing to include experience with Subcontractors
    • 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
    • Direct cost estimating and/or pricing experience with Government Competitive Procurements is required
    • Must be able to read an RFP and understand price volume deliverables
    • Must be able to set-up hypothetical rate and profit / loss scenarios
    • Must be able to organize documents and related data for audit purposes
    • Experience pricing to Government requirements for services; task orders and strategic contracts
    • Experience working with all phases of solicitation processes such as request for information (RFI) and RFP responses and negotiations
    • Knowledge of all contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF, and T/M
