Position Description:The HL7 (Health Level 7) Interface Engine Architect is responsible for the interface maintenance, development, testing and implementation based on customer requirements. He/She serves as subject matter expert in the area of HL7 interfaces across a large variety of clinical, financial and administrative systems. This position works with internal and external customer to develop bidirectional interfaces on the Oracle E*Gate platform and related peripheral systems. He/She also designs and maintains all aspects of the integration platform and serves as primary support contact in a real-time 24-hour environment.The HL7 (Health Level 7) Interface Engine Architect fills a key role in the design and maintenance of other infrastructure and workflow-related systems including numeral Footprints workflow, foremast forms printing, Business Objects reporting/distribution as well as sharping for corporate intranet. This calls for various levels of technical expertise in each of these areas as the customer needs dictate.The HL7 (Health Level 7) Interface Engine Architect has a key role in all forms of systems integration and has a wide variety of skills.
Position Requirements:Education:2 Year / Associate Degree 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Degree in Business, information Technology or other related Disciplines.- preferred
Experience:1 - 3 Years, Interfaces (including HL7) and Crystal Reports 3 - 5 Years, preferred
Knowledge, Skills:Analytical, Grammar/Spelling, Organizational, Time Management, Verbal Communication,One (1) to three (3) or more years IS applications or healthcare operations experience - preferred
