Classification: Administrative - Medical Compensation: $12.50 to $12.50 per hour OfficeTeam Healthcare is seeking a Payment Poster Specialist for a temporary to full-time opportunity located in Hazelwood. The Payment Poster Specialist will be responsible for application of cash receipts to correct customer accounts by performing the following duties: Applying cash receipts to correct customer accounts. Creating secondary billing. Making entries for authorized adjustments and transfers. Reporting and reconciling cash receipts via bank deposit using Excel spreadsheet. Answers incoming phone calls. Accountability includes, but is not limited to, timely follow up regarding all assignments, review of all reports, cooperation with co-workers and response to customer service issues. All employees are expected to be accountable for their actions. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively with clients or employees of organization.MATH ABILITY: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
