Job Description Classification:  Application Development Compensation:  $28.00 to $31.60 per hour You will be providing application support to users for a variety of applications, design/develop/maintain web pages, and assist the Chief Information Officer. EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Ensure resolution of help desk incidents related to applications of all complexity levels in accordance with established standards.Initiates and escalates inquiries to business partner to resolve applications issues and acts as a liaison until problem is resolved.Interfaces with different departments to ensure problems related to business process automation are identified and resolved and proactively identify opportunities for application and system improvements.Develop and manage internet and intranet web pages and establish and maintain procedures and policies to ensure users understand and utilize resources effectively.Develop training documents and conduct training courses for productivity suits and other software.Monitor production environment and provide off-hours support to ensure maximum system availability to user base and perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB RELATED AND ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Modern and complex principles and practices of data processing and computer science. - Software development methodology including version management and control. - Principles and concepts of training. - Principles and concepts of customer service and care. - Install, configure, develop, enhance, and maintain software. - Develop training documents and conduct training courses for users. - Assist in identifying users computer needs. - Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. - Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.PREFERRED SKILLS: - WPF/Silverlight - Code and debug new and existing projects. - Crystal Reports 2008 - Create and integrate with existing projects and software solutions. - Photoshop CS4 - Design/create/maintain existing and/or new projects. Provide support and training to other department staff. - Support Mobile Devices - Support staff with setup implantation of various mobile devices. IPhones, Droids, and Tablets
Job RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent work experience may also be considered. - Three years of experience in application software and database support. Web design and development. - Web Development \ ASP.NET - Design/create/maintain existing and/or new sites that encapsulate the required business processes. - VB.NET - Code and debug new and existing projects. - SQL Server 2000-2008 - Create/maintain databases, tables, transactions, stored procedures, views, maintenance plans, and reports - MS Office Suite - Train, instruct, and troubleshoot with users on the functionality and use of the Office suite products. - .Net Nuke - Be able to administrate users, maintain, update, assist departments with content, and incorporate new functionality into the site. - Ability to work in a standard office environment; ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, twist, climb, and lift 50 lbs.; exposure mechanical hazards and electrical hazards; ability to travel to different sites and locations. - Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license.
