Key responsibilities include:
Conducts extensive analytical exercises to support segment marketing, channel strategy development, competitive analytics and investment decision making. Position involves analysis of our channel marketing tactics, customer engagement, segmentation and targeting & optimization processes
Creates unit sales forecast for the business across channels and products. Understands the nature of the business, including customer behavior, channel strengths and limitations, product profitability and product acceptance drivers, and applies that knowledge to develop reliable forecasting models; explains forecast variances.
Develops and maintains financial models to predict cash flow, net present value, and profit for new marketing programs and the existing portfolio of business.
Uses Unix, SAS and SQL data query tools to build, test, evaluate, and maintain robust data analysis and MIS reporting for management to make timely, informed decision
Prepare and present analyses and recommendations frequently in verbal and written form to a wide audience
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required, MBA or other graduate degree is a plus. 3-5 years analytical or equivalent experience preferred. Experience in optimization is a plus.
Computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix, VB, Excel and MS Office
Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills; Strong independent results-oriented management focus in a fast-paced, changing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage several tasks and objectives simultaneously
