Job Description
Business Operations Manager, City of Meridian, ID. The Business Operations Manager is a senior-level management position reporting to the Director of Public Works, and is responsible for management and oversight of the Public Works Department's annual budget, GIS function, and Strategic Plan. This position also manages the City's Facility Maintenance function, which provides maintenance and repair of all city buildings. The incumbent is responsible for managing and coordinating the administrative functions of the Public Works Department including (but not limited to) those involving the Enterprise Fund, Utility Rates, Capital Improvement Plan, and Ordinance/Policy preparation/updates. Other responsibilities include research, analysis, and modeling associated with development of major recommendations and proposals that drive the department's direction, strategy, business functions, policies, and work plans.
