Job Description Java Architect & Senior Developer

Awesome opportunity for Senior Java Architect to help drive the design and development of the next generation SaaS products.

You will be a very hands on and technical Java Architect and will be coding up to 50% of the time. We are looking for a Senior Architect & Developer who has a passion for technology and is a true technologist.

You will be working on the architecture and development of a new open source platform for a hosted SaaS product for mobile device management and mobile content management system. This is a greenfield development project on a mission critical product. You will be working with Scala, Hadoop, Spring, MVC, Hibernate, JUnit, Web Services, and multiple data bases (MySQL, NoSQL, etc).

Excellent opportunity to make an impact on the next generation of products in a fast paced / Agile environment. This is a direct hire position based in Atlanta.

Job RequirementsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

2+ years as a Java Architect
8+ years of Java development experience
Experience working for a software firm developing commercial grade applications
Web Services
Experience with Java frameworks
MVC
Spring
Experience developing core, web based enterprise applications that are client facing. Ability to hand code instead of using libraries and other code generating tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced Agile environment
Must be willing to code up to 50% of the time
A passion for technology and getting into mobile development
