Job Description Baseball Training Facility and Stadium Sodexo is seeking a General Manager for the Pittsburgh Pirates Training Facility and Stadium in Bradenton, FL with strong culinary experience . This is an exciting position to show case your culinary talents in a unique environment serving athletes from all over the world. Ideal candidate has a Culinary Degree/Trade School Certificate, a current Servsafe Certification, purchasing experience, the ability to analyze operating statements, experience with inventory management for up to $1 million in financial volume. This is a 'hands on' opportunity with responsibilities including oversight for food production and food presentation, food standards, HACCP, safety and sanitation programs. Preferred candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills and will be hands on during VIP functions where position will interface with the client and customers on a regular basis. Position plans and costs out menus keeping current with industry trends and diverse cuisines and oversees 15 employees while assisting the lead cooks with resident dining and campus catering production. Seeking bi-lingual candidates; the ability to communicate in Spanish will assist in managing this workforce. This is a year round position with a typical schedule that may run 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and will include some weekends during the spring training.
