Job Description HEALTHCARE SCHEDULER Terry Reilly Health Services Full-time - 40 hours per week between 8a-6p Monday through Friday Our schedulers ensure incoming calls are handled professionally, courteously and efficiently They are to help persons calling our medical clinics to obtain care or receive information that helps them obtain care. This position is directly responsible for receiving and directing all incoming telephone calls appropriately, and for scheduling patient appointments according to established protocols. This position is also expected to assist with patient reminder calls, registries, and recalling patients; educate patients about the patient-centered medical home model of care, pre-register patients via phone, and identify and route patients needing financial assistance to available programs and resources. Minimum Qualifications: Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Experience with heavy phone volumes and strong computer skills are required.
