Devereux's Mapleton Program, located in Malvern, PA (40 minutes from Philadelphia) is seeking a Full-Time Program Supervisor to work 3pm - 11pm in our Carriage House on Campus. This position also requires an every other weekend rotation.
This position may involve working with a child/adolescent with Disruptive behavior disorders including: conduct, oppositional defiant, attention deficit hyperactivity, post-traumatic stress, intermittent explosive, and affective disorders or History of sexual/physical abuse, school refusal, psychotic symptoms and fears/anxieties interfering with social functioning, moderate to severe psychiatric disorders, Neurological impairments, developmental disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders & Aspergers.
Hours are: 3pm-11pm plus an every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) rotation; 40 hours/week.
As a Program Supervisor, you would be responsible for:
• Providing quality care and motivation to clients
• Supervising Direct Support Professionals
• Maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment
• Implementing programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical and personal needs of clients
• Ensuring clients are safe, healthy and living in a clean environment
• Assisting, supporting and instructing individuals in self-help skills designed to encourage independence
• Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with individuals
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services, which includes sociology, psychology, criminal justice, etc. AND one (3) years of human service experience with at least (1) year as a Supervisor.

Additionally, you must be able to complete eight days of new hire orientation class, have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adolescents with special needs and possess a valid license.
Physical Requirements: Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.
Work Environment: Regularly works inside areas that are adequately lighted and ventilated. Some fluctuations in temperature. Use of Protective equipment such as latex gloves, facial mask protective eyewear, and gown. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Some degree of physical involvement in exercise of Safe and Positive Approaches.
