The team is tasked to develop and deliver metering products that comply with our customer and ever emerging market requirements. The selected candidate will provide signal processing and algorithm development, mathematical modeling / simulation & firmware coding expertise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills will also be needed for documentation creation as well as the development of test verification and validation processes. Education:Minimum (4) year Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Computer EngineeringExperience:5+ yearsGeneral Experience (Must Have):1) Strong Experience with embedded C/C++2) Experience with Mixed signal Analog to Digital design: SAR/Sigma Delta/Flash ADCs, DACs, Op-Amps, Filtering etc. 3) Experience w/ DSP IC's (ex. Analog Devices Blackfin, Sharc - Microchip DSPIC etc.)4) Strong skills in Digital Signal Processing & algorithm development (Processing and quantifying real world analog signals within digital devices (ex. audio, marine, power, industrial etc.)5) Expertise with embedded development tools and practices.6) Experience with embedded RTOS systems.7) Solid history of performance on several DSP embedded development projects.8) Knowledge of Object Oriented Design & Development.9) Project specifications, Product Requirements creation & validationSpecific Experience (Nice to have):1) Experience with: IAR, uC-OSII, RTXC, ARM Cortex, ARM 9, ThreadX,SPI, I2C, UART, FSMC, DDR SDRAM, SRAM, PLL, FLASH2) Modeling & Simulation w/ MathCAD, Matlab etc.3) Familiarity w/ FPGA's etc. (Altera, Xilinx) - VHDL, Verilog HDL4) Familiarity w/ electrical power systems.Behavioral / Professional Skills: 1) Problem Solving and Troubleshooting2) Detail and team oriented3) Excellent interpersonal skills4) Self Learning and Highly MotivatedSchneider Electric is an equal opportunity employer.
