We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Account Specialist I in our Omaha, NE office.  This position will support Aon Risk Solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Account Specialist I provides daily service to, as well as long-range planning support for clients.
  • Checks policies and binds coverage.
  • Handles invoices, orders and checks endorsements,.
  • Handles issues auto ID cards and certificates of insurance.
  • The Account Specialist I will complete audits, special projects, monthly reporting, and completes coverage summaries, vehicle schedules, works with insurance markets, etc. 
  • The Account Specialist I is responsible for taking appropriate in-house education classes and working on an Aon "accredited" continuing education program.
  • MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Two to three years experience in the commercial insurance industry in a service capacity.
  • Active Property / Casualty insurance license for Nebraska.
  • Well developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and works with a sense of urgency.
  •  Ability to work well within a team atmosphere.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION

    High School Diploma or GED

    Bachelor Degree is preferred
