The Sales representative executes National and Divisional sales plans and provides on-site technical support for successful application of AkzoNobel products.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
  • Two to four years prior sales experience; paint/coatings industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of paint coatings and characteristics including substrate qualities, preparation requirements and application methods in order to offer sales and product support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer focused and is able to anticipate needs
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Action oriented, focused on driving for results
  • Shows initiative in overcoming obstacles and innovation in selling methods
  • Travel in local area - company car provided
  • Valid Driver's license is required as well as a satisfactory driving record
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting
