We are seeking a sales star to join our team! The Business Development Manager is responsible for increasing revenue by the acquisition and development of client accounts. This role involves selling Engineering staffing services to companies in the Metro Detroit market. Volt invests extensive professional training in our sales professionals along with one of the best commission structures in the industry competitive base salary, lucrative commission structure, and comprehensive benefits package.Key Responsibilities:" Responsible for ensuring the creation and maintenance of business plans utilizing CRM, with targeted new accounts and completely mapped territories and calendars." Generate viable job orders from new and inactive accounts." Generate leads through prospecting and cold calling, both in-person and via telephone and other electronic media." Turn customer inquiries into orders." Take accurate job descriptions and understand company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made." Research potential new business and current customers." Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations." Meet all minimum requirements for weekly appointment activity and revenue growth." Responsible for ensuring completion of all required sales reports and detailed documentation, including timely entry of data into Volt's CRM and other automated systems." Maintain consistency and integrity of data." Partner with recruiting teams to ensure delivery to customer requisitions." Meet with Director of Sales, and inside staff on a regular basis to communicate all customer service priorities and business/sales opportunities." Job RequirementsQualified applicants will have relevant direct sales experience. Proven success in cold calling and prospecting for new business, following up on leads and building solid business relationships is required. Engineering/Information Technology/Technical sales experience a plus, but not required. Sales people with strong backgrounds in selling services or technical solutions will also be considered. We require at least 2 years of selling experience and servicing, supporting, developing major accounts. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in comparable field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Staffing Industry experience a plus.
