Job RequirementsKey Objectives:Coordinate development and implementation of new and improved products and processes, working with other functions to ensure success. Resolve problems that interfere with planned introduction of new products. Ensure that quality systems processes and improvements are coordinated with engineering changes. Train, guide and motivate personnel in the use of technological innovation and product development and improvement processes. Manage performance evaluation and salary administration for staff. Work with cross-functional teams to develop product and process plans and strategies for profitable growth. Provide technical support for manufacturing plant. Evaluate innovations for patent protection. Develop, justify and review departmental expenses and capital equipment expenses to provide accurate budgeting and control. Drive innovation in products and processes. Drive continuous improvement in personal and job performance.Experience required:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Advanced Degree preferred. 10 years of project management experience and ability to manage multiple disciplinary teams for development of products. Excellent administrative, analytical and communication skills. Proven track record of managing development of and improvements to, complex and innovative products and processes.
