Job Description Finance Director Town of Kingstree The Town of Kingstree currently has an open position for a Finance Director. The successful candidate for this position will provide leadership and direction for the Department of Finance, including: Budget and Research, Grants Coordination, Central Accounting, Financial Analyses, Purchasing, and Treasury. Also essential in this position is the ability to prepare financial reports, make budget presentations before elected officials, and oversee the development and implementation of financial operations within the Town government. The examples of work performed are not intended to be all-inclusive. Other job-related duties may be assigned. Applicants must have a four-year degree with a major in accounting, business administration or related field. CPA preferred. Four or more years of experience in a professional-level accounting position and supervisory experience are also desired.
