Job Description Classification:  Accountant - Senior Compensation:  $15.84 to $18.34 per hour A local government agency is looking for a temporary Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant could turn into a temporary to full time role. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for grants accounting, general ledger preparation, year end prep, preparing financial statements, journal entry, and various other accounting functions. The Senior Accountant must have 5 plus years in a Senior Accounting role preferably in a government or non profit setting. Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel is also needed.
