Job Description Job OverviewResponsible for plant design, residential and commercial developmentconstruction. Assists in system maintenance and projects. Operatesvehicles and performs construction, maintenance, and repair of plant,aerial, underground, and apartment builds in accordance with safetyregulations, company policies, and procedures. Completes workassignments independently or with minimal supervision/guidance. Projects require problem resolution using standard policies and procedures. Hasdeveloped specialized knowledge/skills in own area. May act as aresource for colleagues with less experience.Core ResponsibilitiesThis position will support all commercial SMB and Metro Ethernet installs.Must be able to interact in a professional manner with high profile customers.Must be detail orientedMust have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite of desktop applications Work with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels that meet and exceed customer expectations.Tasks• Performs and oversees the execution of overhead/undergroundconstruction duties such as: placing hard-line cables, frame and strandpoles, transfer facilities between poles, place cable in joint trench,safe operation of construction vehicles and cable trailers.• Meets with design and commercial development personnel to assign workand materials.• Performs quality control inspections. Assists with monitoring fieldpersonnel on a regular basis to assure quality performance andrecommends additional training, as needed.• Performs and oversees work to dismantle, move, or remove aerial,underground or building wire/cable equipment/poles/hardware. Installsand replaces power supplies, converters, and terminal boxes.• Assists with producing reports on capital projects and constructionprogress.• Locates and marks underground cable systems to prevent damage causedby underground construction companies.• Assists Construction personnel with daily activities, workloads, andprojects.• Assists and works with contractors and utility entities.• Gathers data and orders assembly for projects.• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to worknights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements- High School or Equivalent• Generally requires 5-7 years related experience
