Telecom service technician dedicated to a customer site.Responsible for new equipment installations or upgrades, on going service, and Moves/Adds/Changes
Conducts testing using various devices, to troubleshoot product and ensure proper product performance.
Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and system failuresInterfaces with customer to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of the job:
' Fully skilled in servicing Nortel/Avaya CS1000M system and CallPilot products
' Good problem solving and organizational skills
' Strong follow up and interpersonal skills
' Good customer service and communications
' Good understanding of voice/data telecom concepts
Experience - External: Special Training/Certifications/ Licenses (describe): Valid Drivers License required
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent work experience Educational Focus: IT Technical, Telecom
Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 Years
Telephony manager experience a plus
