Job Description Clearwater Paper Corporation is seeking an Assistant Controller in their Lewiston, ID facility. This position coordinates mill financial/accounting activities related to monthly, quarterly and annual closes. In addition to providing assistance as needed for annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure evaluations for multiple locations. Supports mill management by providing sound financial analysis, advice and council to help ensure optimization of business results. Supervises and directs the activities of at least one accounting professional and interaction of on-going functions to include purchasing, distribution, FP&A and sales related activities. Participates in other corporate financial related activities and projects upon request. Successful candidates must possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting. 3-5 years of related experience in costing in a manufacturing setting desired Financial analytical experience a plus Extensive Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge Understanding of ERP systems Experience with JD Edwards a plus Thorough knowledge of general and cost accounting principals Strong organization and time management skills to meet scheduled deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills All job offers are contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and a satisfactory background check.
