POSITION SUMMARY: The Loan Closer is responsible for preparing closing packages for loans with an emphasis on customer service, communication, and accuracy. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES - Prepare accurate closing packages, adhering to agency and investor guidelines, as well as federal and state regulations. - Communicate with Loan Officers, Processors, and Underwriting to insure closings occur as scheduled. - Communicate with settlement agents on funding requirements. - Review closing documents from the settlement agent to ensure that documents have been completed accurately and that all closing conditions have been satisfied. - Accurately fund loans.
