Job Description

Be a part of creating meaningful, independent and productive lives for children and adolescents who receive services from our Orlando based Orange Counseling Center. We have a current opening for a full time Therapist working in the Apopka Leanring Center providing therapy. The Therapist position will allow you to find purpose and give you room to grow in the largest not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida.

  • Therapist Responsibilities include:

  • Provide in-home therapeutic services
  • Provide therapeutic services with an interactive approach
  • Work closely with other team members in the treatment plan
  • Ensure coordination of services is taken to meet the client needs
  • Document therapeutic interventions in the client�s records in a timely manner
  • Be a role model for all staff and clients  
  • Recommend  and or revise treatment interventions
  • Monitor progress
  • Coordinate appropriate discharge planning

    Job Requirements

     To qualify, we require: 

    • Must be able to complete a two day new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
    • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
    • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
    • Licensure preferred
    • Experience working in child welfare required
    • Valid Florida drivers license
