Develop detailed engineering change packages based on review of various required inputs, initiated electronic workflows within the CM system, direct involvement with engineer and other personnel. Perform impact analysis to establish all customers, parts, carlines, plants and approvals required. Organizational skills to identify, pursue and obtain any missing information. Computer expertise with PC and internet based systems. Examine and expedite the progress of engineering documentation within the electronic system. Interface with plant, SET and global team representatives to resolve any issues discovered in the engineering change package. Advise users in the adherence of TRW standards and processes. Understand the product life cycle including Bill of Material expertise. Upon workflow routing release structure appropriate Bills of Material, and verify accuracy in the particular manufacturing system. Register and audit all required outputs to ensure completeness and accuracy of the final change package. Review and release electronic EAR documentation (deviations, general information notices and process routings) processed in the CM system (WindChill). Responsibilities include personal recognition and performance that reflects our TRW Quality Policy and Strategic Priorities. Work within engineering and other functional groups to define and continually improve our internal processes. Maintain expertise on all department systems/processes including usage of Microsoft software products. Train and advise user community of new system updates and enhancements. Provide status reports on system in-process and released workflows, BOM, turnaround time and other metrics as required by manager. Prior experience in engineering change management, manufacturing systems (SAP), and Windchill for CM processing is a plus.
High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials, business or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience and Skill Requirements 1-3 years related experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and analytical skills expected. Must desire to contribute and work in a fast-paced, performance driven company.
