Job Description The Manager of Care Management for Mercy Health Center OKC is responsible for the direction, leadership and oversight management for the assigned inpatient Care Management departments. This position is designed to facilitate an effective process of the new care model; supporting quality patient care, safety and financial components; promoting integration of a seamless care model; coordinating patient throughput; collaborating with facilities to include leadership coordination as evidenced by metrics, optimizing performance and adoption of best practice. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIREDEducation: Bachelors Degree in NursingLicensure: Current License in the state of employmentExperience: 3-5 years acute care hospital setting. Demonstrated supervisory and leadership ability.Certification/Registration: BLS (CPR) at hire dateOther skills & knowledge: Strong verbal and written communication and facilitation skill, strong assessment skills, time management skills, critical thinking skills, advanced computer skills. Must have excellent customer service. Must have ability to interact effectively with a variety of people and situations at all levels of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERREDEducation: 1 year recent hospital-based Utilization Management and/or Care Management experience.Certification/Registration: Certification in Case ManagementOther skills & knowledge: Knowledge of InterQual criteria
