Job Description Classification: Payroll Processor

Compensation: $45,000.99 to $55,000.00 per year

Well established company is looking to add a Payroll Administrator to their expanding Payroll Department. This is a newly created position and the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the following: Process payroll for multiple pay groups and states (exempt and non-exempt) each with different pay schedules. . Update and maintain payroll records (Paper and electronic) including tax withholdings, pay rate changes, health insurance enrollment, 401(k) elections, new hires and terminations, employee loans, etc. Calculation and management of garnishments, child support and tax levies. Process Federal and State withholding formsPreparing ad hoc and special reports as requested by managementRespond to employee inquiries on benefits, payroll and general personnel questions.

Job RequirementsProspective candidates should possess 4+ years of processing payroll in a multi-state environment with 500+ employees. Candidates that are pursuing wither their FPC and or CPP certification highly preferred.
