Job Description Responsibilities: Our client is seeking a Business Analyst for their Detroit, Michigan (MI) location.The Business Analyst participates in the requirements development for applying business needs to technical applications. The position may be involved with various aspects of the requirements design process. They may define and document internal and external user interfaces and support system and data requirement clarification and definition. The position may support prototyping activities that will validate business requirements, solution definition and minimize risk. The position works directly with team members from business sectors and the applications development team. They may assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks.Work is project-oriented and actual tasks must be defined by the employee. The qualified candidate understands company goals and practices and applies them when resolving a variety of problems. This position receives only general instructions on new work and uses judgment and creativity with sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions. They may interface with senior management to convey information.Other Responsibilities:

    Job RequirementsThe following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise:
    • BS and 4 + years or equivalent
    • Knowledge of the system requirements definition (RD) processes and modeling methods and tools
    • Knowledge of conceptual and logical modeling
    • Ability to coach and mentor other lower level business systems analysts
    • Ability to support prototyping activities that will validate business requirements and solution definition
    • Ability to apply general organizational knowledge of the business and systems processes in problem analysis
    Must have experience with:
    • Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Payroll
