The senior system analyst works under general direction to define system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. Studies information systems needs, investigates solutions and presents recommendations to management. Responsible for being team lead as assigned by management. Responsible for quality assurance review. Serves as a liaison for computer vendors, physicians, and other facilities as well as a resource for all users in the implementation of patient care computer systems.
Job RequirementsRequired
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Clinical Licensure in area of application supported (or similar application)
  • Must obtain Epic certification within six weeks of epic training
  • 5 years experience relevant to the clinical application supported
  • Computer skills including word processing, use of email, scheduling of meetings, and use of a spreadsheet.Understanding of healthcare systems.Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.Ability to work in a team environment with analysts, management, vendors, and customers.
