Job Description Classification: Accountant - Cost

Compensation: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year

Our client is one of the premier companies in the greater Lafayette, Indiana area and they have an immediate need for an experienced Cost Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for all costing activities and related analyses. This includes areas such as developing standard costs, inventory costing and analysis and various manufacturing related analyses. Preferred candidates will be degreed in Accounting, Finance or related field. A minimum of 3+ year's experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Candidates should be skilled in standard costing, inventory costing and financial analysis. Strong technical skills, specifically in Excel and ERP systems will be required as are excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
