Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a Tier Three Software Test Engineer to work as part of a team on a long-term project with Our Client in Redmond, WA.Position Description:

Specifically, Our Client is looking for a dedicated, hardworking Tester to come aboard and work with them. This position consists of writing and running detailed Test Cases for the team's areas and helping them, as a team, to ship a AAA quality title.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write Test Specifications for complex areas of the product, and write Test Cases.
  • Deliver on other needed documentation.
  • Own product areas.
  • Possibly design/write/execute test tools, automation and/or Business Intelligence reports.
  • Analyze test results and adjust test cases accordingly.
  • Find and report bugs.
  • Handle knowledge of user needs and competing games to influence product direction, and contribute significantly to product specification.
  • Work under the supervision of Sr. Testers.
  • Provide leadership to others, as needed,
  • Proactively look for holes in test coverage.
  • Own and create Data Analysis charts, and report on assigned test areas of a project through shipping.

    • This is an estimated one-year contingent / temporary position in Redmond, WA, through Volt Workforce Solutions, based in Raleigh, NC.     Job Requirements

    Required Skills for this Software Test Engineer 3 position include the following:

    • Must have 3-5 Years of Software Test Engineering experience
    • Should also have at least 2-3 years of game industry experience
    • Must be experienced shipping 3+ software products
    • Must have a passion for technology, as well as gaming
    • Must be gamers who can actively talk about the current generation of consoles and titles
    • Should be able to write excellent bugs in Team Foundation Server/Product Studio
    • Must be able to debug crashes for Developer fixing

    Soft Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

    • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
    • The ability to work well in a team environment and be proactive
