Job Description:Raytheon will be establishing a regional office in the Vicksburg, MS area to facilitate a team of subject matter experts, and other support personnel, who will support high performance computer software application development and analytical research for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). This regional office is to be fully staffed by September 2013. Raytheon Company is accepting applications from prospective candidates, in various technical and non-technical capacities, entry-level to seasoned professionals, to fill several very important roles of responsibility. The following job description describes the criteria for the role of Mid-Level Security Analyst.The Mid-Level Security Analyst supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.   He/She applies know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures, performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures, analyzes and defines security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computers.Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements.   He/she provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution, analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems, performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle, and ensures that all information systems are functional and secure.Required Skills: 
  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to assess and deploy enterprise information assurance and security standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization and recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers' requirements.
  • Ability to identify, report, and resolve security violations.
  • Ability to establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
  • Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
  • Ability to apply know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
  • Desired Skills: 
  • Knowledge and experience with SecurID, Cryptocard, PKI, Kerberos and other security tools.
  • Understanding and use of IAVA and IAVA reporting techniques.
  • Experience with Retina, CSA and other security analysis software.
  • Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Management of Information Technology.
  • Master's or higher preferred.
  • Relevant IA Certifications preferred.
  • Existing Top Secret Clearance required.
