This incumbent’s responsibilities include functioning as an advisor for the clinical application system. This includes functional and technical nuances of the system. The incumbent has a high degree of knowledge of the clinical system and its processes. The incumbent advises on hardware and software needs of the system as well as coordinates the deployment of software and hardware with other teams internal to I.S. and vendors. The incumbent makes recommendations for new software and system implementations to maintain a fluid system. The incumbent conducts oneself with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Required skills and abilities include the following:Must work well individually in high-pressure situations as well as provide guidance in coordination with other teams within I.S. Responsible for recommendations for the system including client functional requirements, application configuration, and software implementations.Assist resources internal to Norton I.S. in upgrades and implementations including network, server, and database teams. Must possess the ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of internal and external customers.
Job RequirementsRequired
  • Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Licensed Pharmacist
  • 8 years Pharmacist experience in a clinical setting
  • Previous systems experience in development, support, maintenance of Hospital/Practice based systems
Desired
  • Clinical Informatics Certification desired
  • 3 years in leadership or management
