Job Description Job Classification: Contract The Administrative Assistant supports the department providing critical administrative duties. Essential Functions: Monitors phones and screens calls ensuring proper referrals Responds to routine and non-routine questions Sorts, distributes and prioritizes mail May make light travel arrangements Schedules appointments for supervisor and group meetings May maintain departmental calendar Uses PC and multiple software packages for moderately complex support functions Gathers information and data as directed Compiles data and creates reports May maintain department budget Prepares, formats, and edits routine to complex documents Composes routine correspondence Signs and releases correspondence in supervisors absence, sets up and maintains filing systems Handles expenses to make sure that all receipts are entered correctly Required Skills: High School Diploma and a minimum of 3-5 years administrative experience or equivalent overall experience. Demonstrated skills in word processing or PC applications is required MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) intermediate level skills required Some formal/college education preferred Join Aerotek Professional Services®.
