Primary responsibility of the Yard Laborer position is to manually unload / handle freight, stock and/or other materials as needed and as related to the aggregate distribution industry. Job requirements include the following:

  • Ability to operate general construction equipment at the terminal when given training.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.  
  • Complete miscellaneous jobs according to instructions given.  
  • This position works on the rail daily. Education/Experience
  • Completion of 8th grade, graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma preferred.  
  • Must have valid drivers license and meet the qualification of the fleet safety program. What Oldcastle offers you
