Job Description SENIOR WINDOWS ARCHITECT DIRECT HIRE Modis is currently seeking a Senior Windows Architect for a direct hire position at one of our top clients in Wichita, Kansas. The Senior Windows Architect will develop and design streamline processes that involve Windows systems, virtualization and Infrastructure. The Senior Windows Architect will also perform SQL Server administration as well as web server management. Duration: Direct Hire Locations: Wichita, KS Green Bay, Wisconsin Atlanta, Georgia Responsibilities: As architect for Windows and VMware-related tools and technologies, this individual will be responsible for developing and architecting solutions to streamline processes related to Windows systems, and virtualization infrastructure. Will be accountable for a solution infrastructure, ensuring enterprise-class reliability, adhering to team standards and guidelines. On-call support and occasional after-hours support may be required. Qualifications: 5+ years MS Windows system administration 3+ years performing architecture-level project work in a large environment Ability to manage multiple, high-priority projects 3+ years experience with server virtualization Scripting experience in Perl, VBScript, or PowerShell Experience in administrating Windows domain structures and active directory Good analytical and problem solving skills Ability to mentor and share technical knowledge with team members Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure service level agreements are met Ability to work in a team environment Ability to learn quickly Strong customer service skills Ability and desire to take ownership, seeing tasks and projects through to satisfaction and completion Ability to lift 50 lbs SQL Server administration and T-SQL 2+ years PowerShell scripting Experience in TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP management Experience in IIS & web server management for internal and external servers and sites Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field OR equivalent experience MODIS incorporated is the leader in the field of information technology (IT) consulting and solutions.
