We are looking for individuals with a health care background and these characteristics for our Medical Underwriting Team.  Bring your knowledge of the medical industry to this role where you will: 
  • Process health statement applications using the Plan medical rating tool in an accurate, timely fashion
  • Produce correspondence detailing plan eligibility / rates
  • Provide customer service to those inquiring about potential or pending policies



    • Job RequirementsKey qualifications and experience:
    • 1 year office experience in health insurance or in a medical office working with medical terminology, ICD9 and CPT coding or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Background in health insurance enrollment, marketing or customer service preferred
    • Proficient PC skills and prior experience in a PC environment; Ability to type 30 wpm with 95% accuracy
    • Flexibility, work well under stress, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, ability to learn new tasks quickly
    • Must maintain confidentiality of information
    • High school diploma or GED
