Job Description Our client is the largest manufacturer and marketer of water heaters in North America. With operations worldwide, they manufacture commercial water heating equipment as well as a comprehensive line of residential water heaters that are marketed through the plumbing wholesale channel and a fast-growing retail channel. This Quality Assurance Engineering position is based at their facility in Tennessee.Duties and responsibilities:Responsible for supervision of Quality TechniciansResponsible for performing all Quality related functionsResponsible for leading QA projects and / or QA project teams as well as:Manufacturing and / or Lab audits and reviewsCommunicating to upper management, peers, other department supervisors, engineers, etcUnderstanding of ISO requirementsExpertise with Six Sigma, SPC, FMEAs and Lean Manufacturing
Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field- Engineering a plus5 + years of manufacturing, quality and technical experienceExpert in 6 sigma, SPC, FMEAs & Lean ManufacturingQuality, Engineering and Manufacturing experienceDemonstrated ability to initiate change and continuous improvementStrong computer software exp in MS Excel, PP, Word and Mini-tabAbility to present action plans and updates to executive managementSolid understanding of ISO requirements.Volt Workforce Solutions is an international leader in offering human resource solutions for our customers.
