The Digital Campaign Traffic Manager position will be responsible for managing a team of Digital Campaign Traffickers supporting end-to-end implementation and management of assigned advertising campaigns -- from creative testing and QA, to trafficking, troubleshooting, internal and external reporting, and maintenance. This manager role will be responsible for managing all portal, key account, and network advertising campaign objectives & initiatives in order to execute contracts, grow revenue, optimize client experience & reduce costs. The role will focus on optimizing workflow processes, maximizing the effectiveness of sales & implement business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily trafficking and ad operations across multiple business functions including contracts, planning, systems and operations including audit and business controls.
  • Assist team in launches of advertising platforms, trafficking, testing and managing all digital banner, text, and video ads for the DE Network
  • Maintain relationships with 3rd party revenue partners
  • Troubleshoot any ad creatives that affect proper delivery
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance to ensure full delivery and to maximize creative performance.
  • Ongoing quality assurance and customer service
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Ad Products, Portal Management and National Advertising Operations teams
  • Identifies potential enhancements in business management processes that will streamline workflow and maximize revenues.
  • Identify training opportunities and implement action plan to address those needs
  • Understand online advertising industry, text links, rich media display products, campaign success metrics, media buying/selling, and sales process preferred.
  • Develop,document and train on standards, best practices and guidelines
  • Escalation point for account management & operational issues and concerns.
  • Coordinates sales & operations employee performance, onboarding related to new hire training, system access & log-ins.
  • Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3 + years of operations, account management, customer management and/or ad ops experience.
  • Expertise knowledge of ad serving technology; specifically Real Media (OAS).
  • Experience with 3rd party ad serving vendors such as Pointroll, Mediaplex, and Doubleclick DFA.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, familiarity with JavaScript and Flash, preferred
  • Strong working knowledge with Excel and pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in all standard Windows Microsoft programs.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with superior organization skills and incredible attention to detail.
  • Ability tomulti-task and a proven trustworthy independent producer.
  • Creative problem solving dexterity. Analytical approach to driving revenue and optimizing whole inventory yield.
