SUMMARY:
Assist with financial planning duties including forecast, budget and cash flow reporting and presentations for senior management. Compile, analyze, and communicate operating metrics for internal presentations and reporting. Analyze financial and operational information using analytical tools to translate trends and variances into meaningful feedback. Provide analytical and ad-hoc reporting support on an ongoing basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with monthly internal reporting to Senior Management.
Assist with annual budget reporting, quarterly forecast reporting and monthly performance analysis reporting.
Assist with monthly Sources & Uses forecast as well as annual Sources & Uses budget that includes a 5 year Long Range Plan.
Assist with compilation and preparation of high level financial presentations.
Assist in the development and measurement of annual budget and business planning process.
Prepare monthly summary of actual and forecast data, including key market highlights, for CMG Senior Management.
Prepare monthly working capital and A/R aging analyses.
Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses using Hyperion Essbase.
Provide support for controllers of assigned divisions. Serve as point of contact for questions during budget planning process.
Other projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 years accounting/finance experience; CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel (including V lookup, pivot tables, etc.) and Power Point required.
Demonstrated strength in analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex business concepts.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a customer service focus.
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management to maximize performance.
Results oriented, with a high bias for action and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from supervisor to accomplish objectives and to meet assigned deadlines.
Experience with Hyperion Planning and Reporting, including SmartView or Essbase add-in, is preferred.
