Job Description Chapman University is a mid-sized state college with high volume resident dining operation serving breakfast, lunch, dinner as a Continuous Dining access on Mon-Fri. Brunch, Dinner Sat & Sun. Unit features Action Stations ( fully equipped mini Restaurants) (10 stations). Position with primary responsibility Resident Dining Operations. Candidate must be computer literate, familiarity with Sodexo food management, and Labor management is a plus. Responsible for monthly training of direct report staff in areas of Food Safety and Occupational Safety. Strong client and customer skills are essential. Prior Sodexo Campus Resident Dining Experience desired. Fundamental culinary knowledge and ability to train in this area required. Position will oversee 2 managers. Prestigious University Showcase Sodexo Partneship - Restaurant style Resident Dining Large Resident Population.

Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.Sodexo is an EEO/AA/M/F/D/V employer.
