Job Description Job Classification: Contract Job Description Details: Both position could cross over regardless of title Assembler I ? Cleaning Air Handling Units ? Installing filters and insulation ? Basic assembly duties ? May operate a screw gun ? Installs wall panels, doors and internal parts ? Finish caulking work ? Helps install wall panels, doors and internal parts. ? Helps install fans and filter racks Assembler II ? Installs wall panels, doors and internal parts. ? Installs fans and filter racks. ? Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints. ? Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand tools and portable power tools. ? Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts. ? Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation. ? Mounts and connects auxiliary mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment; cuts and fits pip and tubing. ? Operates a screw gun ? Identifies heating and cooling units ? Identifies motor, voltage, amps and fans ? Operates drills and die grinders. Qualifications: ? Able to work independently and with others. ? Able to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor. ? Able to lift 50lbs.• Must be able to read a tape measure• Use Power tools ? Must have average manual dexterity. ? Able to climb ladders. ?
