Job Description Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan,coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License.Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification; If new graduate nurse will obtain ACLS within the first year of employment in Critical Care.NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care.Other: Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.Preferred Qualifications:Education: BSN, preferred
