Job Description
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a position that will provide nutrition care at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. A 248-bed, not-for-profit, acute care facility with a 25-bed skilled nursing unit located in Parkersburg, WV (mid-Ohio Valley region /nearest metro area Columbus, OH a 2 hour commute).

* The ideal candidate will:
  • Be a Registered Dietitian preferably with 1 year of previous experience in acute care to manage the nutrition care process for this community hospital
  • provide cross-coverage to the various units within the medical center including the Patient population consisting of medical/surgical, ICU, CCU and provide nutrition care to low acuity level patients
  • work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and team to represent the Department on Hospital committees; and provide nutritional care in close collaboration with the medical staff
  • have excellent communication and customer service skills, have a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team & be a team player with the Clinical RD & management team

    Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
    Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.

    Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
