Job Description A Telecommunications Company in Boca is looking for a Bilingual Paralegal, with strong Real Estate and Finance experience.Summary: Preparation of legal documents and coordination of closing and post-closing for Real Estate Finance transactions and other corporate legal matters. Essential Duties Responsibilities: Under the direction of an attorney, resolve routine legal issues. Under the direction of an attorney, prepare legal documents such as contracts, mortgages, memoranda of leases, estoppel letters, landlord's waiver and consents, easement agreements, lease amendments, subordination non-disturbance agreements, transfer documents and corporate organizational documents. Review and analyze contracts, mortgages, ground leases, deeds, easement agreements, assignments, surveys and legal descriptions. Coordinate real estate finance closings. Under the direction of an attorney, review, analyze and organize a variety of legal matters, including due diligence (corporate, real estate, title and environmental site assessments). Review and prepare documents for senior management review and execution. Correspond with third parties on a variety of legal matters, including obtaining additional information. Under the direction of an attorney, follow up with ground lessors, vendors, and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters. Coordinate with and disseminate documents to various departments within the company. Under the direction of an attorney, coordinate the recording of fully executed documents, the payment of applicable recording fees and taxes, and obtaining title policies. Coordinate the scanning of various transaction documents into the property management database. Maintain and distribute various trackers and logs. Under the direction of an attorney, assist in various corporate organizational (legal entity) matters. Prepare letters, memos and reports. Other projects and duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: AA degree required, BA/BS in Finance or related field preferred. 5+ years of paralegal experience 1-2 years of experience with Real Estate closings. Must demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Excellent written, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified Paralegal preferred. Real Estate license preferred. Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screen.
